I am a bit concerned about my blood sugar levels in the morning. i get a wide range of values. most are within 120 to 107 range, with a one that was 142. what ranges do you guys get in the morning? i am not sure if i am pre-diabetic or not. after a five hour fast during the day my blood sugar is normally low like around 89.. Is the fgl measured by blood sugar monitor or by laboratory?if by monitor you should reduce 10% of the reading which is 108 and that is normal for a diabetes patient.if you got this in a lab then also i will recommend that 120 is alright.it gives you flexibility in case you have a late breakfast or have less carbohydrate breakfast as compared to other days..
